I have a CD player in my car. It does not have a tape deck. The CD player will not play my burned CD-R discs. The disc will play in other CD players, though. If I have a portable CD player that comes with the car kit I could play with that through my car or do I have a tape deck, have to make this work?

I have a Sony Walkman MP3 player and want a portable CD player for work but one that I can connect my MP3 player. I bought a walfdale received from Argos, but the MP3 player is properly connected. Can someone help me?
