Landscape Painting and the Vistas of Assassin's Creed II

One might inspect that the opening few hours of Assassin’s Creed II resemble the pacing of a story told in a still life painting (that is: prevailing nowhere fast).  Blessedly once the player has a larger sense of the picture of the game as its vistas and views revealed, it becomes a canvas much much more vividly alive.

While this metaphor between painting and game might seem just a cute criticism, it is also a rather appropriate one for a game that is set in one of the most fructiferous eras and locations for painting in Western history, the Italian Renaissance.  Also, it is notably a game particularly focused on illusion and seeing as the game’s protagonist, Ezio, is an assassin who can only get his bearings in the world by scaling buildings to slight the places in which he will be hunting his prey.  This need translates into one of the major objectives in gameplay. Unlike other open up world games, which usually feature a fairly clear sense of the layout

I am an American artist and I host a TV show Art Instruction, where I say studio oil painting and plein air painting in the Impressionist category. My Impressionist plein air landscapes, still lifes duration compositions, portraits and paintings have been represented by enumerating the most important galleries for more than 20 years. My paintings are in corporate collections, such as "Big Apple" of Irvine, Sears, type Oil, and Coca Cola.My travail is common in primary school art publications like Southwest Art, Art & Antiques, American Art Note, US-seen American style battery, and other kind of diary. I am a former president of the Orange Art Connection and old time Fellow of the Laguna Plein Air Painters Linking and Southern California Plein Air Painters conjunction. On my daily blog I call affordable Painter matter-of-fact fellow oil on my calling to each other and start a new collector.
