How to paint a room

If you sketch on painting the ceiling, that comes first. You will need an extension handle and a brush. Put a small amount of paint in a disposable plastic container for easier handling.

1. Carouse ("Cut in") with the brush a 3-inch-wide band in all corners, around windows and baseboards and along the line between the ceiling and walls.

For easier hoover-up, cover the roller tray with a 13-gallon trash bag. Fill the tray's well about 2 inches deep with paint. Dip the windlass and work it on the roller bed to get it well-saturated (it should not be dripping with paint). Your first roll-on should be in a "W" pattern that is about 3 feet square. Then fill in around the W and roll over lightly. Try to do the intact ceiling without breaks.

Paint the walls using the same process. If you see drips and runs, gently roll over the limit and move on. Do not keep rolling over tacky paint or you will ruin the finish. Let dry according to manufacturers instructions and apply a second coating. (I usually do the first coat in the morning, go out to eat lunch and come back for the second coat.)

All ideas, what I paint for an acrylic painting for my art class? Subject, or even like a particular image.

One of my favorite expressions (and always captures the attention of the teacher) is a tree. A willow is always beautiful, sensual and very simple .... But it can be a volatile, wind-blown so .... that's what I go with.

When painting with acrylic paints, what should I start painting first?

I've searched all over the internet for an answer to this, but everything I have keep coming up with techniques on how to mix colors for acrylic painting! I really want to know how to begin to paint my picture. It is a portrait of one of my closest friends. Should I paint the background of the canvas board first, or her face or her hair? Please help!

Paint in layers. Background shading first. Then work your way to more details. Keep your wet suit. I use an extender gel lighter mix.
