With its low fetch of inclusion into audio systems, compact disc (CD) players are still in tune with consumers despite the rise of digital music and networking technology, according to an analyst.
In an e-despatch interview with ZDNet Asia, Ross Rubin, director of industry analysis consumer technology at The NPD League said while the CD player is skipped in some home or car audio products in favor of network or flash storage or USB port for connecting to music files, the CD player is not at endanger of becoming extinct.
"For example, in [audio] shelf systems there is usually plenty of room to include a CD drive and the sell for is minimal," he pointed out. "The percentage of home audio systems sold without CD capability is quite small."
In car audio systems, a CD prod is sometimes needed for other purposes, such as playing a DVD for rear-seat viewing, added Rubin. "This may migrate to Blu-ray over time but [the player] will defend compatibility with compact discs."

I have the car, really nice, 99 Volvo C70! However, I can not get the 3-CD, CD player play burned CDs, it plays "real" ones just fine! Will it ever play those burned, someone said, if the weather gets warmer? Any suggestions?
Try a different brand of blank CDs. Also make sure when you burn the CD, make it track at once and at the end of the CD.
If that does not work, you might be lucky. Not accept car-systems before 2000 burned CDs because they werent popular back then. Burned CDs are different from original CDs, because the color was changed, instead it is characterized as the CDs, making music studios.

What audio format can work in sony cd players, and the car cd player?

I am using Verbatim CD-R, and I need to know what audio format is working in two Sony CD players, and the car CD player?
The only think that works in all players a regular CD-Audio, where you burn a CD with tracks. Some players can read MP3 files from a CD-R, but since we will not know what type of players you have, this is not guaranteed. CD-R's are cheap, you can try it out and see.
Very old CD players may not work correctly with CD-R, but this is really old, like the 1990 would have.
